Google Cloud VMware Engine

Due to the recent acquisition of CloudSimple, Google now supports a “VMware-as-a-Service” solution within there native portal named “Google Cloud VMware Engine” (GCVE). This solution provides full access to the vCenter user interface as well as the NSX-T Manager portal just as it would be On-Premises which allows a user to maintain their operational consistency where GCVE essentially becomes their second datacenter.

Google recently announced their “General Availability” of the Google Cloud VMware Engine in June 2020:

The GCVE environment allows customers to consume a full VMware SDDC software stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T) on Google hardware within their datacenters while leveraging Google native cloud services (Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Google Kubernetes Engine, etc.) and remain connected to their On-Premises instance to provide a true hybrid cloud architecture.
